About the Author:

Rudolf J. Karvay specializes in a wide range of estate and trust matters, including litigation, probate, administration, kinship proceedings, estate planning, and taxation. Rudolf earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University in 1985 and worked as an art appraiser in a New York City auction gallery. He later attended Brooklyn Law School as a Richardson Scholar, receiving his law degree in 1992. While in law school, Rudolf served as the senior law clerk for the Counsel to the Public Administrator for Kings County, New York, where he was first introduced to trust and estate law. Over the past 20 years, Rudolf has dedicated his practice to this field. Currently, he is a partner at the renowned Long Island law firm, Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, P.C., located at 100 Garden City Plaza, Garden City, New York 11530. 1-800-939-0235. He represents clients in all New York state and Federal Courts.

Professional Associations:

Rudolf frequently lectures on estate and trust topics and is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, serving on the Surrogate’s Court Committee. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Nassau County.

Community Work:

Rudolf is deeply involved in his community, currently holding the position of President of the Board of Trustees of Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, a not-for-profit mental health clinic in Forest Hills, New York. He also serves on the Professional Advisory Committee of the Long Island Community Foundation.
